I’ve Been Incubating! No fooling!
We all know we sometimes need to give ourselves a break, even from the things we love. I haven’t written a blog in more than two months and I have missed connecting with you. Although, I must say, my mind has appreciated the break from deadlines and allowed my brain to incubate new ideas and enthusiasm.
It is hard for me to believe that my debut novel was published almost a year ago. Thank you to everyone who read my book and gave me confidence to start another one. Thank you to the books clubs and the insights readers brought. I loved the discussions.
My most recent book club was indeed special. One of my close high school girlfriends, Gina, hosted the event and another friend, Dotty, attended. What a treat sharing the world of Sleepy Hollow with new friends! I also had the chance to finally wear an original football jacket belonging to Gina’s husband, Dennis. It is so old, the sleeves crinkle!

My Work in Progress
My second book is being written! This time, Nessa, the female detective in “Secrets in the Hollow” has a mission to find Chester’s fiancé, who is missing. Libby has disappeared with priceless papers showing a friendship between Washington Irving and Edgar Allen Poe. Nessa defies her strong moral compass as she struggles to find Libby in time for the wedding. No title yet!
